Quantified products, such as apples and rice, are managed separately from standard products (covered in the Product Stock section) for precise weight-based tracking and inventory control.
Stock Information
Key features for managing quantified stock
Weight
Tracks the weight of quantified products like fruits, vegetables, and grains, measured in kilograms or grams.
E.g., 5.2 kg of apples, 10 kg of rice, or 200 g of spinach leaves in Warehouse B.
Type
Specifies the unit type (kg or g) for weight measurements of products like bananas, leafy greens, or grains.
E.g., Kilograms for bananas, grams for herbs like cilantro.
Management Rules
Guidelines for quantified stock management
Quantified products, such as apples, bananas, leafy greens, and rice, are separated from normal products, enabling detailed analysis by the main branch.
Stock updates for quantified products are archived and updated daily, similar to product stocks.
The Transfer button enables moving quantified products like vegetables and grains to branches, covered in the Transfers section.
During checkout, weights of products like apples or rice are adjusted based on checkout status (Complete, Refunded, Partial Refunded), covered in the Checkout section.
